Since I’ve been hard at work getting the edits done on The Fall of the Codex, I thought I’d share a fun *unedited* book excerpt! There are SO MANY SUPERPOWERS in this book, y’all, which was so fun to write. This excerpt gives you a little taste of that — plus, you get to see my OG couple, Grady and Kayla, do their thing again. Which is always good, right?

(Spoiler alert: If you haven't read The Secret of the Codex yet, there are a few light spoilers here, but nothing that will ruin the story. Just wanted you to be aware. 😉)

So to celebrate, I thought I’d give you a really fun excerpt. It’s a bit lengthy, but it’s about Holun (who you met in book 1, The Secret of the Codex) and Yatzil (who we meet in book 2). And it’s SO FUN. I love these two so much.

We’re only THREE WEEKS AWAY (😱) from the release of The Prophecy of the Codex (10/27/20), so to celebrate, I thought I’d do two things.

A few days ago, I sent out an email with my cover reveal, book blurb, and release date announcement for my upcoming book, The Prophecy of the Codex. But I realized I hadn’t put it here, so here goes!

Today I thought I’d do something I haven’t done here in a while: Share a book excerpt! It’s been too long.

Codex Series Book Two TITLE!

Earlier this year, I finished the first draft of my second book in the Codex series! That's right — The Secret of the Codex has a sequel! Well, it has a second book in the series, which will definitely have a third and possibly a fourth. I'll have to see how the third one plays out...

BUT...

I thought it was time to get you all up to speed on the title of book 2! It's pretty evocative (in my humble opinion) so I just love it. Ready?
