My Thoughts on the Attack on the U.S. Capitol
Today, my heart is broken. I've been watching, as most of you probably have, the news coverage on the attack on the U.S. Capitol, the insurrection in D.C. for several hours. Enjoy!
UNPOPULAR OPINION: I’m grateful for 2020.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Today is the day — in the U.S., anyway — we remember to give thanks. We have a lot of yummy food (my husband and I are cooking all our favorites for the two of us — can we say leftovers?) and remember all the things we have to be thankful for.
At least, that's what it should be.

You’ve finished your book. Congratulations! That’s amazing! CELEBRATE!
But as you’ve probably discovered, you’re not done. There are a few steps between finishing the first draft and publishing a book, especially if you’re self-publishing. So what should you do? How do you know what to do next? What step should come first, second, even fifth?
It’s natural to have a ton of questions. Let’s go down the list.
